LCNG Mobile Stations and Tanker Trucks

One of BlueHUBS’s objectives is to procure and set into action the operation of mobile LCNG stations and CNG bunkering and refueling infrastructures located at the core TEN-T ports of Heraklion and Limassol.

The stations will be fully equipped to convert LNG to CNG and dispense it to the respective recipients.

In Limassol there will be

  • Two (2) mobile LCNG stations with an indicative capacity of 60  each

The mobile LCNG stations will be supplying LNG and CNG to port and other heavy-duty vehicles and buses, loading LNG to tanker trucks and storing adequate quantities of LNG to cover the demand between provisions.

  • Three (3) LCNG tanker trucks with bunkering equipment and an indicative capacity of 50 each

The tanker trucks will be bunkering the LNG fuelled vessels calling at the core TEN-T port of Limassol Terminal I and II, supplying the LCNG stations and storing adequate quantities of LNG to cover demand in the core TEN-T port of Limassol between sequential arrivals of the LNG bunkering vessel.

In Heraklion, there will be

  • One (1) mobile LCNG station with an approximate capacity of 200 .

The mobile LCNG station will provide CNG to CNG port heavy duty vehicles and buses, LNG to the LNG tanker trucks for bunkering the LNG fuelled vessels calling at the core TEN-T port of Heraklion, as well as supply any other isolated LNG users within the island of Crete.

  • Five (5) LCNG tanker trucks with bunkering equipment and an approximate capacity of 50  each.

The tanker trucks will be bunkering the LNG fuelled vessels calling at the core TEN-T port of Heraklion, supplying the LCNG stations and storing adequate quantities of LNG to cover demand in the core TEN-T port of Heraklion between sequential arrivals of the LNG bunkering vessel from the core TEN-T port of Piraeus.
